Like Shed Cat I initially tried searching Google for "Stratton Gentry". I then tried Ask.com and it came up with a website about Brentford's railways that contained a mention of Stratton Gentry and said that they were coal merchants.
As the picture in Alan Locojoes post was of a terminus station and as the description of the only terminus station in Brentford (old GWR Dock branch) didn't match it, I had to go further afield.
I used "Complete British Railways maps and gazetteer 1830-1981" and looked for all the former terminus stations in the areas around Brentford. It was then simply a case of looking on the excellent
Disused Stations site to see if any of these particular stations had been listed and luckily Hammersmith and Chiswick was.
