There were two locos built for the North Eastern Railway in 1905. Central Cab and sloping
bonnets: The Class ES1. They ran on 600v DC overhead and had 4 British Thomson Housten Traction Motors. One has survived into preservation, having been withdrawn in 1964. It is currently at the National Railway Museum at Shildon.
It is only vaguely similar but may be of interest.
