Hello my name is Michael Wheeler and thanks to my dad's love for the railway I was introduced to trains from an early age. Now some 25 years later I am a photographer based in London which seems a million miles away from my childhood dream of being a train driver. lol
But its as a photographer I wish to return to my childhood routes with a body of work I'm currently working on regarding groups of people who share an interest or hobby, and I think you'll agree rail enthusiast certainly deserve a place in this work.
So I'm calling for any interested folk who would like to get involved by attending a photo shoot in my studio in London SE1 for a quick portrait. This will require you to bring along all the items you usually take with you when out identifying trains, it should be laugh.
For all those who take part a complimentary print will be offered for your time. The work will be featured on my website once completed.
