Help Please For Layout

Hi,
Do any of you know of a track plan/ideas for a container terminal, i have a 4ft x 2ft board ready for tracklaying and am looking for ideas,it is to be an american terminal with a container crane (still elusive in N gauge despite an extensive search on the net) OO is served well for a crane but not in n gauge.
Any help would be gratefully recieved especially on the crane.

Nick.

Nick,
The discontinued electrically operated Brawa Container Crane (no.1150) occasionally crops up on Ebay and may still be stocked by some shops. I assume that you already know about the Mi-Jack "Translift" http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3222 and the Container Stacker http://www.ndetail.de/bausatz-reachstacker.html

Nick,
The reachstacker is made by a German company called "Ndetail.de" Apparently Dapol are soon to be made their official distributor in the U.K. which will make purchasing easier.
There's one of the Brawa cranes on Ebay.de at the moment but from what I can make out something appears to be damaged:( http://cgi.ebay.ch/ALTER-CONTAINERKRAN-FUR-SPUR-N-VON-BRAWA-1150-OVP_W0QQitemZ170180818611QQihZ007QQcategoryZ99815Q QrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638 .m122

I think a lot of us feel like that about Mr Swisstrains. If we had a 'member of the year' contest, I reckon John would win hands down. :)
