I have just come across this website that looks interesting - shows all passenger services into the station you want on an hourly / chosen basis
It gives headcodes / destinations / times / platforms used etc check it out at - http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk suggest you use the advance option but it doesnt seem to show freight John |

Hey, this site is great. I often wondered where these very knowledgable people found out things like headcodes which used to be shown on the front of trains and which are still used to identify each service. It's like finding out secret information. Thanks. |
Brilliant website. Thanks for telling us. Should have known about this resource years ago...

There are other sites like this including Mobile ones
http://www.opentraintimes.com/ works on mobile too http://headcodes.info/ mobile site --- m.headcodes.info comes up on google search IF you use Android then there is a FREE App called Rail Tracker which does the same thing LIVE are just two of them NONE of them are allowed to display freight trains due to a TOC complaining to NwR (edit - just thought NwR is Network Rail) and stopping them releasing the information and no I asked and it wasn't a freight operator it was a Passenger only one ???? why ??Who I don't know they are still quite useful especially when used in conjunction with sites such as http://wwta2.networkrail.co.uk/brows...y%202013&root= which links to PDF files for all trains as WORKING TIMETABLES which are different being what trains a PATHED to run but may not actually run |
reatime does give freight times
Hi realtime trains does give freight times as well. In advanced under the 'show' options on the lower one change fron 'all schedules' to 'non passenger trains'
