Blue same as my Avatar. |
Two tone green and green and cream as on the early diesels. I always though that the blue period was very dreary, almost as bad as the last two years of steam !

For me
It's got to be Two Tone Green without yellow panels - obviously late logo period (Ferret and wheel totem) for the 60's but I can remember seeing this BIG Green loco with stripes (I was around 4) and it had a name Scafell Pike and I fell in love with the class 44's at Chesterfield it was on it's way from Derby North (? Naming Ceremony at Carlisle which fits the time of year but can't remember exact date) |
It has to be green for me.
