New software tool to prioritise trains in real time,Norway
 

These days one of the major transport system for the passengers is railway.There will be particular departure and arrival times are governed by a timetable.But some times two trains should occupy the same resource.This will be the problem for undue traffic.Re-orientating switches and controlling the signals will be common task for traffic controllers.Recently SINTEF researchers found a new software tool to priorities trains in real time.It was successfully trialled at the Traffic control centre in Stavanger,Norway.
