Netherlands Steam Railway

Hi guys,

I'd like to bring to your attention a fantastic little line in North Holland which runs between the lovely, historic towns of Hoorn and Medemblik.

Open pretty much every day until the end of September this is one of the most picturesque lines in the Netherlands with lots of travel options including returning by ferry.

Please take a look, its well worth including on any little trip to the Netherlands - please feel free to contact my website if you have any interest.

Many thanks

Not been, but I know it's twinned with the Bluebell Railway.

It is yeah.

Its a nice little line and a decent length too - 1 hour 20 each way.

Both the towns at the start and end of the line are really nice too, well worth a couple of hours each, so all in all it makes for a really enjoyable day out.
