Installation of railroad crossing

This weekend in Twello a little town in the Netherlands a brand new railroad crossing was realized.

there is a little film on youtube in which you do see the what kind of work has to be done to realize a crossing, even for pedestrians, bikers and farmingvehicles.
there is some footage on termic welds,
and some stuff regarding minus component [ in the Netherlands traction is realized bij 1500V DC where the minus is the track]

Hello telmachine and welcome to the Railway Forum. I found you film of termic welds very interesting. I have never seen it done as I left the railways back in 1969.

OK as far as it goes but an awful lot of the weld process left out.
Mind you the book time for a weld is about 1 1/4hrs so understandable that some has been cutout.
No setting up of the rails.
No feature on the stressing that has taken place. (The yellow clamps and bars around the welds.)
No setting up of the weld moulds.
Preheating only seen in the background.
