Freight trains Ventimigila- Cannes
 

Good Afternoon,
I am visiting Monaco at the moment and during a previous visit to the town I was at Monaco station by chance and a freight train passed in the direction of Nice. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is regular and if there are any other freight trains which pass along the line.

I was in Cannes during mid June. the hotel was near to the main line, although we were out most day's, i did see a train of oil tanks coming from the Nice direction, and containers going the other way.
I believe the main line from Monaco,Ventimiglia, Diano Marina, goes on to Genoa.
