Evidently this solution only works on non-electrified lines - otherwise the pantographs would get a headache....:confused:

I have a video of an incident in India, where a young bloke was walking along the top of a carriage. For some unknown reason he put up his hand and grabbed the OHL. He may have been unbalanced or not thinking.
He fell across the carriage, and after a minute caught fire!
The crowd scattered!:eek:

Yes Mickey I saw that too and pretty horrific it was. Not to be recommended for sure.

I imagine sales of crash helmets have soared recently and that would the sort of thing Japanese TV co's would have a go at or even Jackass.
