26x3 ft

me and the east somerset boys are hopefully getting hold of a 26 x 3 foot layout of thornbury station
it a lms line but we are wondering the best way of converting it into a gwr line
the problem we have it is a exhibition layout and want to make it as acurat as possible with out making to much work any ideas

If it's a perfectly good layout why bother converting it?

You could always leave it as it is, exhibit it and the "Rivet Counters" will soon put you right. A pair of selective ear plugs might come in useful!

they would be very useful
even if i didnt just use them for the model railway

At the other end of the line, Yate station was Brunel. If i wasn't to comfortable, I would look up why the Bristol Gloucester line had Brunel stations, but it could give you one of those raison de etre things.

oh thats a bit different
