Stobart derailment??

Hi,

I was driving home from Inverness today when I saw what looked like two Stobart container wagons derailed.

To the north of Aviemore there is a small station at Carrbridge before the line crosses a river. I saw a wagon on its side with another perched on top, sitting upright. This was a few hundred yards north of the station.

Anyone know anymore about this?

Alex

There's a thread on here concerning this - it was widely covered on the news, 66038 (I think) derailed with wagons at Carrbridge about a fortnight ago.

Is the delay in recovering it due to the weather ?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the link. I only looked back a few days to see if it had been mentioned. Didn't realise it was 2 weeks ago. I only caught a fleeting glimpse of the two wagons as I drove passed.

Alex, there`s more info and pics in Railway Herald, can`t remember if it was this weeks or last. They don`t take long to download, here`s a link to the site: http://www.railwayherald.com/
