Mysterious tube train

Hi. I hope I am in the right place to ask this question - this is my first post on the forum.

On Monday 15th April I was driving through Leicester when I saw a train running in London Underground livery. Does anyone know what it was doing there?

Cheers,
Stephen.

There is a photograph of it in the gallery by pbowler.
I myself have no clues.

The picture I found was of a class 20 loco. What I saw was a multiple unit - it appeared to be a genuine tube train, though as I was driving at the time, I couldn't look too closely!

Not a train being delivered from Bombardier was it?

THey go from Derby to Old Dalby for testing then run south top and tailed with Class 20s

I thought they'd all been delivered but this may been returned for snagging or mods.
