Hornby's Flying Scotsman and Duchess of Sutherland.

My son has inherited two box sets of the above locomotives including coaches, track, transformer,Train Controller, Power Clip and TrackMat.

The Flying Scotsman set in its original box contains the loco and tender, 2 x LNER Composite Coaches. 1 x LNER Brake Coach,Oval Track 58" x 38" with sidings,Transformer,Train Controller,Power Clip and TrackMat.Condition described as MINT/UNUSED.

The Duchess set up in original box described as the Northern Belle with Loco and tender, 3 x modified Mk 2 coaches, two named as Glamis and Warwick. The Starter track is 65" x 37 with 2 x sidings.Transformer,Train Controller etc. This set has NEVER been removed from its box and all contents remain wrapped in its original tissue paper.

My question is: What's it worth?
Also placed in For Sale.

Stuart.

I would take a look at ebay, and see what the asking prices are there. If you can find the R number of the sets, then you have a better chance of finding the same sets for sale.
