compiling a full list of stations and their train operating companies.
 
hello!

was hoping someone could help me here, i am trying to compile a full list of train stations and their TOCs.

the TOC websites themselves are hardly any help, and wikipedia..is wikipedia.

any advice?

Take a look at the Network Websites

http://www.networkrail.co.uk/browse%...May%202012.pdf


This gives you a full list and as long as you can work out the codes which TOC operates them

Just type "Closed railway stations" into Google and the long long list with dates and companies has already been done. There are several sites, not just Wikipedia.

Some time ago I downloaded the complete National Rail Timetable PDF. It contains a list of all the stations and tells you which company operates from them. I expect you can still get it if you hunt around (NB it's 57MB!).
