According to the Platform 5 publishing book "Preserved Locomotives of British Railways" which also lists D.M.U.s & E.M.U.s, two coaches survive, both end vehicles from unit 4002. S 13003 S is at hope farm, Sellinge, Kent. S13004 S is at the Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway, Hunsbury Hill, Northampton.
The other six coaches were scrapped at various locations, if I remember correctly all of unit 4002 was bought for preservation but there were problems with finding accomodation etc for it, and two coaches have fallen by the wayside sorta thing.
