Greetings from Lincolnshire

Hello all. First post here and an intro. Username Goose from the Midlands. Just rekindling my interest in Locomotives after a 25 year absence from the hobby. Main interest is classic diesels, particularly old BR blue scheme ones, but enjoy Steam as well. Looking forward to being a part of your community. :)

Many thanks Bryan, nice to join a forum and receive a welcome. There are too many self centred people inhabiting a lot of today's forums. This one seems refreshingly different. :)

Hi Goose, hello from a fellow lincoln man. I was around when steam was in its final years 58 to 68 and saw the cross over from steam to diesel. I too had been away from the hobby for 38 years or so before I rekindled my interest and joined the forum last year.
Pyewipe used to be a good spot for me and we would often cycle to Tuxford for a bit of spotting on the east coast main line. Loved Lincoln Central specially on a Sunday when diversions ment we had a bounty of (LNER) traffic passing through.
Anyway welcome to the forum
