Would be great to have it at Wirksworth.
When 1000 was restored to working order by BR at Derby, it was taken to Wirksworth for it official photo session!
Best wishes,
John H-T.

Did a blow up of the cab side and got my steel rule out. using the bottom of the cab the number is not straight. Also putting the rule along the base of the water tank, the number is quite a bit out or I am squint.

I don't have a problem with the name on two counts:
1. It celebrates a fine organisation in the Railway Modelling World.
2. The owner keeps this loco in suberb order which we all enjoy, so if he wants to name it that is his choice. My wife thinks that all locos should be named!
best wishes,
John H-T.

Love the 33's and your photo captures thier character well. Spent a lot of time on the Kensington drags. The Loco looks superb.

Great photo,Like the make up of the train. (Rich the number plate does look crooked to me but it seems to be level with the wires above )

Great Western panniers are paticulary attractive engines. Is a trick of the camera, but the number plate doesn`t look square or is it my eyes?
