Hi,
Move here from UK 3 years ago. Did the trainspotting/preserved railway/etc thing in the 70's and early 80's around Manchester and also London and the SR.
Now got the bug again after 20 years...ok, now that I'm married and settled with a week old baby boy (who will be brought up the same way!). Still only like British diesel & electric...can't get into Australian ("American style") stuff. Just wished I hadn't thrown out all my old railway books, photos, tickets etc - who could have know about eBay ;-)
Also starting a model railway layout too (British modern image) and hope my stuff in boxes for 20 years and shipped around the world are still ok!
Heading back to UK for 6 months next year so I will have to plan ahead to maximise my 'rail' events/visits - juggling with a wife & kid & work...
