Apparently EMT are organisaing some specils between Leicester/Nottingham to Lincoln next week, so I am going to get myself on a few if they are definitely running as classic traction. Anyoe know what traction is likely on the services?

I think it's the WCRC who are running them- at least there's a WCRC stock move through Preston for them.
If it is WCRC, I should think 47's, or very possibly, 57, 33, 37.

It ended up being class 47 front and back ends, and set of Mk2 coaches. I only went on the one in the morning. Couldn't make it throiugh to the afternoon as wet through :D
Went back on a ice route via Sheffield though. It was funny onboard an MML HST, the train manager started "this is the Midland Mai (pause) erm East Midland Mainline service to London St Pancras".
